It’s safe to say by now everybody knows who won this year’s Presidential election - well, everyone except the six contestants currently taking part in the US series of Big Brother.
The housemates have had no connection with the outside world since September 28 but Big Brother producers decided to reveal the news that Donald Trump was elected the 45th President of the United States.
Journalist and TV presenter Julie Chan first asked the remaining contestants to raise their hand if they believed that Hillary Clinton won.
Five out of the six contestants rose their hands, with the remaining housemate Danielle, a Clinton supporter, believing that the majority of voters are “older white Republican males” which would give Trump an advantage.
Their reaction was one emulating the rest of the world.
"Gay people, where were you? Minorities, where were you? Can we just stay in here for the next four years?" said openly gay contestant Jason Roy.
“WOMEN!” another contestant added.
After the broadcast Morgan declared that there is a high possibility that any of them could be the next president as Donald Trump is a fellow reality TV star.
