It seems Jonathan Rhys Meyers has had a humour by-pass. Though he’s appeared in 'Bend It Like Beckham' and Woody Allen’s 'Match Point', he says he has no wish to ever take on a funny role again.
Since playing Henry Vlll in 'The Tudors', he now wants to concentrate on more serious roles, though he does add that he’s a terrible comedian: “I can’t be funny on cue and I don’t think I could do take 10 of a joke.”
