An American electronics multinational has announced the creation of 60 new jobs in Dublin and Cork.
Xilinx is investing €40m in the expansion of its electronics engineering centres.
Xilinx currently employs over 275 workers in Ireland, at its European development centre.
The IDA-supported company makes semi-conductor microchips used in a range of goods, including consumer electronics.
The company will recruit 45 senior silicon and electronics engineering staff, as well as a further 15 staff in other areas.
