18 trawler crew members rescued off Kerry coast

Eighteen crew members from a French trawler have been rescued off the coast of Co Kerry.

Eighteen crew members from a French trawler have been rescued off the coast of Co Kerry.

They were taken from the water by the crew of another French trawler when their vessel went down in rough conditions off Loop Head this evening.

The Department of the Marine confirmed that all crew members were safe and well.
