Taoiseach Enda Kenny is meeting with fellow EU leaders in Brussels this lunchtime, where he hopes to win support for a cheaper EU/IMF bailout deal for Ireland.

Europe's leaders are meeting to consider the crisis in Libya which is driving up oil prices and creating unease in world markets.

The leaders also plan to discuss the eurozone economy, and attempt to draw a line under the crisis of recent months.

Mr Kenny will use the occasion to impress on his EU colleagues the need for better repayments terms for Ireland's €85bn loan package.
