Four Irish people who were rescued from a sinking cruise ship in the Antarctic are travelling home today.

Four Irish people who were rescued from a sinking cruise ship in the Antarctic are travelling home today.

They spent hours in lifeboats in freezing conditions yesterday when the Explorer vessel hit ice.

One hundred passengers have been taken to Chile, where they spent the night at a military base.
