Man arrested in connection with Belfast rioting

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Belfast in connection with rioting in the east of the city during the past few days.

A 28-year-old man has been arrested in Belfast in connection with rioting in the east of the city during the past few days.

The man, from west Belfast, was detained following dissident republican activity during the public disorder and the attempted murder of police officers.

He has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.
