A woman has been dragged from her car during a hijacking in Co Antrim.

She was forced out of the Renault Megane by a man who jumped out of another vehicle which pulled up behind.

The woman, who was in a parked car, was uninjured but has been left badly shaken by the ordeal.

The incident happened in the Derriaghy Road area of Lisburn at about 7pm last night.

A spokeswoman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
