Unemployment levels among migrants were four times higher than among Irish nationals last year.

Unemployment levels among migrants were four times higher than among Irish nationals last year.

The figure is contained in according to a new report that claims more needs to be done to integrate non-nationals into Irish society.

The report says total employment among migrants fell by 40 percent between 2008 and 2011 - it dropped 10 percent among Irish people in the same period.

The report is also calling for more foreign citizens to get involved in sport here.
