New statistics show that August is the most dangerous month of the year when it comes to children injuring themselves when playing outdoors.

New statistics show that August is the most dangerous month of the year when it comes to children injuring themselves when playing outdoors.

Figures from the Injuries Board reveal that children are five times more likely to have an accident in a public place this month, compared to December.

One in 10 children are injured while on trampolines.

Parents are being advised to supervise their children adequately when they are playing.
