Consultants predict tough year for property market

The property consultants firm CB Richard Ellis is predicting a tough year for the Irish property market in 2009.

The property consultants firm CB Richard Ellis is predicting a tough year for the Irish property market in 2009.

In a report out today, the company says less than €500m was invested domestically last year compared to €1.9bn in 2007.

It says it does not expect conditions to improve to any significant degree until 2010.
