A man has been stabbed in the face and neck during a vicious assault in west Belfast.

A man has been stabbed in the face and neck during a vicious assault in west Belfast.

The attack happened just before 6pm last night in the Glenbawn Drive area of Dunmurry.

The victim, aged in his 30s, has been taken to hospital with multiple wounds.

Police are looking for a bald man aged in his 40s with a moustache and wearing a checked shirt.
