Nail bomb found under car in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the discovery of a nail bomb underneath a car in the city last night.

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the discovery of a nail bomb underneath a car in the city last night.

A number of homes were evacuated while army bomb disposal experts examined the device found in the Broombridge Road area of Cabra at around 11pm.

A controlled explosion was carried out and the area was subsequently declared safe.
