Fifth man arrested in connection with Michaela McAreavey death

A fifth person has been arrested in connection with the murder of Michaela McAreavey in Mauritius.

The man was arrested this afternoon and is believed to work as a security officer at the Legends Hotel where Michaela was on honeymoon.

It is reported that police believe he was the one who substituted the key card used to gain entry to the McAreavey's room where Michaela was strangled.

The man was initially quizzed during the investigation earlier last week, but was released.
