Pammie set for 'CBB' appearance?

Pamela Anderson is set to sign a deal to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother'.

The former 'Baywatch' babe - who has featured in both the Australian and Indian versions of the Channel 5 reality show - is said to be "on the brink" of agreeing to enter the infamous house, with 'CBB' bosses desperate to sign her to "sex-up" the series.

She said: "I am very excited about the show. I will just be myself and have fun with the contestants in the house."

This comes after the 44-year-old star was close to signing a deal to appear on last year's series on Channel 4, but pulled out at the last minute when her ex Tommy Lee refused to go into the house alongside her.

An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "The time is right for Pamela and she's going to be a TV treat for 'BB' fans."

Meanwhile, 'Big Fat Gypsy Weddings' star Paddy Doherty has also reportedly confirmed an appearance on 'Celebrity Big Brother' when the show launches on Channel 5 later this month.

A source explained: "Paddy will have to get used to a house on 'Big Brother'. But he is up for the challenge of doing the reality show and can't wait to get involved."

Former 'Two and a Half Men' actor Charlie Sheen, 'The Only Way Is Essex' star Amy Childs and 'X Factor' twin singing sensation Jedward are also rumoured to be appearing in the upcoming series.
