An air and sea search for a sunken boat off the coast of Wicklow has been called off.
A distress signal was heard yesterday morning on a ‘ship-to-ship’ radio channel.
A Coastguard helicopter, rescue boats and a naval ship were dispatched to the area off the coast of Greystones, where they found debris including fish boxes and clothing.
The Coastguard says the operation has been called off because they have no’t received a definite report of a missing vessel.
