Pedestrian killed in Sligo road crash

A pedestrian has been killed in a road crash in Co Sligo.

A pedestrian has been killed in a road crash in Co Sligo.

The 63-year-old man was hit by a car on the Tubbercurry to Ballymote Road just after midnight.

His body has been taken to Sligo General Hospital.

A technical examination of the road is being carried out, and diversions are in place.

Anyone who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact gardaí at Ballymote.
