Gardaí in Wexford are still questioning two people in connection with a fatal hit-and-run in Gorey at the weekend.

Twenty-year-old student Kelly Gregan died after she was hit by a car on the Main Street in the town in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A man in his twenties and a woman in her thirties, who were both arrested yesterday, are being questioned at Gorey and Enniscorthy garda stations.

A third person, a man in his thirties who was arrested on Monday, was released yesterday evening without charge.
