The PSNI are appealing for information after a man was kidnapped in Co Down yesterday.

The PSNI are appealing for information after a man was kidnapped in Co Down yesterday.

The incident happened outside a hostel on Central Avenue in Bangor at around 5pm yesterday evening.

Four people abducted a man in his mid-20s as he exited the building.

He was tied up and bundled into a dark-coloured Ford Fiesta.

He escaped a short time later in the Skipperstown Rd area.

He has minor injuries and is suffering from shock.

Two men, aged 20 and 21, and two women in their 20s were arrested.
