Three people have been treated for smoke inhalation following a problem with an oil burner at a house in Co Clare this morning.

Three people have been treated for smoke inhalation following a problem with an oil burner at a house in Co Clare this morning.

The burner is believed to have malfunctioned, filling the house in Lissycasey with thick smoke.

A woman, a 17-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy all managed to escape the house, but were treated for smoke inhalation and are recovering today at Ennis General Hospital.
