PD senator to contest Kildare by-election

A Progressive Democrat party senator is to contest the north-Kildare by-election. Senator Kate Walsh ran for the PDs in the 2002 general election in the constituency.

A Progressive Democrat party senator is to contest the north-Kildare by-election.

Senator Kate Walsh ran for the PDs in the 2002 general election in the constituency. She gained over 12% of the vote.

Sen. Walsh is one of four Progressive Democrat appointees to the Seanad.
