Pakistan’s military rulers have sacked five senior police officials, including the police chief in Islamabad, following a grenade attack on a Protestant church known to be frequented by Westerners.

Pakistan’s military rulers have sacked five senior police officials, including the police chief in Islamabad, following a grenade attack on a Protestant church known to be frequented by Westerners.

Five people, including two US citizens, were killed in the attack on Sunday, while 45 others were injured, most of them foreigners. The church is located in a heavily guarded diplomatic quarter near the US Embassy in Islamabad.
