Three men have been arrested after a cannabis grow house was discovered in Tipperary this morning.

Three men have been arrested after a cannabis grow house was discovered in Tipperary this morning.

Over a thousand plants of of various maturities were found during the search in New Inn, before officers uncovered a second premises being used to dry the drugs.

Cannabis herb and a shotgun were also seized.

It's thought the plants could have fetched up to €700,000 if they had reached the streets.

The three men arrested range in age from their 40s to their 50s and are being held in separate Garda Stations in Tipperary this evening.
