Representatives of the Orange Order and other loyalist marching groups have held talks for the first time with the Catholic Primate of Ireland.

Archbishop Sean Brady has described the meeting as symbolically powerful, but the loyalist orders say it was simply part of their campaign to get the Parades Commission replaced.

The orders have already held talks with the Irish and British governments, the North's Human Rights Commission and various politicians as part of their campaign against the body.
