Quinton Fortune will re-ignite his career at Bolton after signing a one-year deal.
The South African played his second match for the club in the draw against Rangers and has impressed manager Sam Allardyce with his attitude.
Fortune, 29, has been training with the club for the past few weeks after being released by Manchester United. He had been tipped to sign for Celtic, only for the Glasgow giants to go cold on the deal.
Allardyce is delighted to have sealed a deal with Fortune.
“Quinton is a player I have admired for a very long time, “ he told www.bwfc.co.uk.
“He is a quality performer with plenty of Premier League experience and he can play in a number of positions.
“He will be a very welcome addition to our squad.”
