Gardai have named the 23-year-old woman who was killed in a road accident in Galway last night.

Gardai have named the 23-year-old woman who was killed in a road accident in Galway last night.

Her name was Louise Annis from Bohermore Road, Galway City.

She died in a two-car collision at Claregalway village, bringing the total number of people killed on the roads so far this bank holiday weekend to two.

Yesterday another woman was killed at Rathduff on the Cork-Mallow road when her car collided with a van and a truck.
