Derry City have booked a place in the quarter-finals of the FAI Cup after a 3-0 win over Waterford at the Brandywell last night.

Sean Friars put the Northerners ahead after just eight minutes, with former Irish international David Kelly scoring his first goal for the club two minutes later and Gary Beckett adding the third within another six minutes.

There are three games in the cup this evening with Sligo Rovers hosting Bray Wanderers, St Patrick’s Atheltic hosting Shelbourne and Bohemians entertaining UCD at Dalymount Park.
