The trial of two Dublin men charged with raping and robbing a non-national woman in a city centre apartment last year continues at the Central Criminal Court in legal argument in the absence of the jury.

Both men, aged 35 and 30 respectively, have pleaded not guilty to raping one non-national female and robbing her of €950 cash and four mobile phones in her apartment on August 24, 2006.

The 35-year-old accused has also denied assaulting the woman causing her harm on the same occasion.

They also deny robbing €150 and mobile phone from the same woman and €300 as well as three mobile phones from another non-national female at the same address on October 12, 2006.

Mr Justice Barry White has asked the jury to return to court in the morning.
