Rhona Young died shortly after collapsing, at Letterkenny General Hospital, Co Donegal on Wednesday.

The results of a post mortem carried out on seven-year-old Rhona Young are inconclusive according to gardai in Letterkenny this evening.

However, the results of further tests which were carried out on the schoolgirl today will not be known until Monday.

Meanwhile, a garda forensic team from Dublin, this afternoon, completed their examination of the family home on the outskirts of Letterkenny.

It is expected that Rhona's body will be released to the family over the weekend for burial.
