Kernan makes three changes for Tribesmen

Galway manager Joe Kernan has made three changes to his side for this Sunday's Allianz NFL Division 1 clash with Kerry at Pearse Stadium (kick off: 2.30pm).

Galway manager Joe Kernan has made three changes to his side for this Sunday's Allianz NFL Division 1 clash with Kerry at Pearse Stadium (kick off: 2.30pm).

All of the changes are in the forward lines, with Garry Sice, Niall Coleman and Matthew Clancy coming into the side.

Sice makes his first start following club duty with Corofin in the All-Ireland Series, although he did feature as a substitute last time out against Cork scoring a point.

He comes in at right-half-forward in place of Conor Healy, with Joe Bergin moving from full-forward to centre-half-forward to replace the injured Sean Armstrong.

Meanwhile, Niall Coleman is added to the half-forward line in place of Damien Dunleavy.

Michael Meehan retains his right-corner forward berth, with Nickey Joyce moving from the left wing to full-forward.

Matthew Clancy, who impressed last time out as a 44th-minute substitute is give the nod in the left corner.

Paul Conroy has been given a starting berth at midfield this Sunday despite facing a crucial Connacht U-21 Football Championship tie against Sligo on St Patrick's Day.

Kerry manager Jack O'Connor is expected to name his side for the game tonight.
