The ISEQ index of Irish shares was down today, sliding 79.41 points to 4318.77.
Fyffes announced profit increases for the first half of 2008 but cast a gloomy outlook for the rest of the year. They also saw their share price fall €0.02 to €0.34.
The financial institutions suffered an unfortunate morning on the trading floor.
AIB was down €0.20 to €7.90 while Anglo slipped €0.22 to €5.14.
IL&P was also down €0.30 to €6.50 while BoI dipped €0.28 to €5.25.
