SIPTU workers to protest over health cuts
Health workers will gather outside the Department of Health later to voice their anger over potential cuts to services.
SIPTU claims the Minister for Health James Reilly won't acknowledge its concerns, which has left workers feeling uncertain about their futures.
The trade union is also calling on the government to reverse HSE cuts to some one million home-help hours.
SIPTU is calling on health workers to stand together to ensure essential services are defended.
