Training programmes are the key to encouraging lifelong employment within our society, according to the Minister for Enterprise and Employment Micheál Martin.

Training programmes are the key to encouraging lifelong employment within our society, according to the Minister for Enterprise and Employment Micheál Martin.

Ministerr Martin was speaking at a conference arranged by the Irish National Organisation for the Unemployed to promote the National Employment Action Plan.

The minister described the plan as vital as part of a "focused approach to all of the issues around unemployment".
