Sean Quinn Junior's Supreme Court appeal hearing is due to finish up today.
The son of the bankrupt businessman is challenging his three month jail sentence for contempt of court.
It is highly unlikely the Supreme Court will give any decision today, however.
The hearing was due to last just two days but has now overrun into a fourth day.
Quinn Jnr is trying to overturn a finding that he was in contempt of court orders put in place to stop the Quinns' International Property Group assets from being moved beyond IBRC's reach and then later to reverse asset stripping that had already taken place.
He was jailed for three months by the High Court in July but his lawyers say he may be held indefinitely if certain directions aren't carried out – orders they say that are beyond his control.
On the last day IBRC claimed members of the Quinn family continued to breach orders as recently as July with employment contracts that provided for seven figure payouts in the event of an assassination attempt.
