Several hundred people attended a rally in Belfast last night in support of the family of Robert McCartney, the man murdered by senior IRA members earlier this month.
The rally was organised in an effort to encourage more people to come forward to help bring the 33-year-old's killers to justice.
The McCartney family has claimed that witnesses are too afraid to provide information due to the killers' IRA links.
The IRA has expelled three members as a result of the murder and has urged everyone with information to come forward, saying threats made in its name would not be tolerated.
Speaking at last night's rally, the dead man's sister, Paula McCartney, said those involved in the killing should turn themselves in.
"We hope and pray that over the coming days and weeks, those responsible for Robert's murder and the clean-up operation will do the patriotic and right thing and hand themselves over and tell all they know truthfully," she said.
"If not, they must be pressurised to do so."
