A 16-year-old boy remains in garda custody this morning in connection with the murder of two Polish men in Dublin last month.

The teenager was arrested yesterday afternoon in connection with the fatal stabbing of 27-year-old Marius Szwajkos and 29-year-old Pavel Kalite in the Drimnagh area of the city.

He is the fifth teenager to be questioned in connection with the attack.

The DPP is currently considering whether charges should be brought against the other four.

Mr Szwajkos and Mr Kalite both died in hospital after being stabbed in the head and the neck with a screwdriver by a gang of youths on February 23.
