Saints relics begin nationwide tour today

The relics of St Therese of Lisieux are due to arrive in Ireland later this morning.

The relics of St Therese of Lisieux are due to arrive in Ireland later this morning.

The relics left the French port of Cherbourg yesterday evening and should arrive in Rosslare harbour at 11am today.

The relics will be welcomed officially by the Bishop of Ferns, Brendan Comiskey, before being transferred to Rosslare Harbour Church.

The relics of the Saint begin a nationwide tour today, which will last two months and visit every diocese in the Republic.
