Police in Belfast have released two men arrested yesterday in connection with the loyalist feud that has claimed four lives in the city over the past month.

One of the men was questioned about the murder of Craig McCausland on July 11, while the other was arrested in connection with the killing of Stephen Paul on July 30.

Both victims were killed in north Belfast and had links to the Loyalist Volunteer Force.

They were shot dead by suspected gunmen from the larger Ulster Volunteer Force, which is trying to wipe out the LVF as part of a turf war over drug-dealing and other crimes.
