Five CIRA suspects released

Five men being held over suspected links with the Continuity IRA have been released without charge.

Five men being held over suspected links with the Continuity IRA have been released without charge.

They were arrested as part of an ongoing investigation into the activities of dissident republicans.

The group, three from Limerick and two from Dublin were picked up at Limerick City pub on Wednesday in a planned swoop by Garda Special Branch.

Detectives say their investigations are continuing.
