Tipperary boss Ken Hogan has made three changes from the side that lost narrowly to Cork a fortnight ago for Sunday's National Hurling League second phase clash against in-form Clare in Thurles.
Conor O'Mahoney and Paul Kelly form a new midfield partnership, replacing Tom King and Francis Devanney.
In attack, Mark O'Leary comes in at wing-forward for Pa Morrissey. Skipper Benny Dunne moves from midfield to the half-forward line, while John Devane leads the attack.
