The Scotland left-back, signed from Hearts last week, came in for Spanish midfielder Juan Ortiz, who started on the bench.

Light Blues’ skipper David Weir, who missed Saturday’s Clydesdale Bank Premier League opener against Hearts due to suspension, came back into the defence in place of Kirk Broadfoot, who also began as a substitute.
