A post mortem examination will be carried out today on the body of a woman found in a house in Dublin.

A post mortem examination will be carried out today on the body of a woman found in a house in Dublin.

The remains of the woman in her 40s were found in the house in Templeview Grove in Clarehall at around midnight last night.

The woman's body has been removed from the scene.

A technical examination is underway at the scene.

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses with any information to come forward and contact Coolock garda station on 01-6664200, the Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.
