Thousands of households across the country are without water today after the thaw led to widespread disruption to services.
Local authority crews are working to restore supplies.
Counties Dublin, Cork, Kildare, Wicklow, Westmeath, Kilkenny, Sligo, Galway, Limerick and Kerry are among the worst-affected areas.
