Fans throng Kilkenny for 60-gig Source

Up to 20,000 music fans are in the Marble City today for the culmination of the Kilkenny Festival weekend.

Up to 20,000 music fans are in the Marble City today for the culmination of the Kilkenny Festival weekend.

The Source festival is one of the biggest live music events outside of Dublin and will see a line-up including Bryan Ferry, Bob Geldof, Katie Melua, and Juliet Turner.

It will wrap up with the headline-act, James Taylor, at 8pm.

As well as the main event in Nowlan Park, the weekend has seen 60 gigs at 40 venues across the city.
