A young Irish woman who was injured in last week's road crash in the Australian city of Perth has died from her injuries in hospital.

A young Irish woman who was injured in last week's road crash in the Australian city of Perth has died from her injuries in hospital.

20-year-old Kiara Duncan, from Slane, died in hospital at the weekend after being criticially injured in the crash on Wednesday night.

She was one of five Irish people travelling in a car that crossed onto the wrong side of the road and collided with another vehicle.

The front-seat passenger, 20-year-old Colm Reilly, died shortly after the crash.
