Gardaí are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in south Dublin yesterday.

Gardaí are appealing for information after a man was stabbed in south Dublin yesterday.

A 39-year-old man suffered injuries to his hand during the incident on Reuben Street in Rialto at around 3.30am on Sunday morning.

He was taken to St James' Hospital for treatment to a serious injury to one of his fingers.

No arrests in connection with the incident have yet been made.

Gardaí in Kilmainham are investigating - and anyone with information is being asked to contact them.
