Exports have increased by more than 2%, according to the latest figures from the Central Statistics Office.
The €154m jump was recorded in February and the newest data available from the CSO show the total value of exports at more than €7bn.
Over the past 12 months, the value of exports has decreased by 10%, that is being attributed to a drop in exports of medical or pharmaceutical products and organic chemicals.
Exports to the EU make up 58% of all exports, while the US accounted for 22%.
