High Court puts back decision in Hungary extradition case

The High Court has put back its decision on whether to extradite a Dublin man wanted in Hungary for causing the deaths of two children in a car accident in Budapest over 10 years ago.

The High Court has put back its decision on whether to extradite a Dublin man wanted in Hungary for causing the deaths of two children in a car accident in Budapest over 10 years ago.

Forty-six-year-old Ciaran Tobin with an address at Offington Drive, Sutton, was sentenced in his absence to 18 months jail for negligent driving causing the deaths of five-year-old Marton and two-year-old Petra Zotlai in April 2000.

The court will now rule on his case on February 11.
