Aniston will play the role of a beautiful woman who is a dead ringer for the millionaire’s late wife.
But the robbery fails to go to plan.
The original film featured Caine in the role of career cat burglar Harry Dean and Shirley MacLaine as Suzy Chang.
With the end of Friends, Aniston recently committed to star in Diary for Columbia Pictures.
Her most recent big screen performance came in Universal’s hit comedy Along Came Polly.
