Eurovision acts await fate in Dusseldorf
The acts have all performed and the counting of votes is due to begin shortly at the headquarters of the Eurovision Song Contest in Germany tonight.
Jedward performed sixth, and took to the stage amid rapturous applause, before 9pm.
The twins are the bookies' joint second favourite to win, after France.
Earlier, President Mary McAleese sent her best wishes to the Grimes brothers, and assured them that she would be tuning in, along with 150 million others worldwide.
